	 Postcard Sweatshirt with Shirttail Vents
	
	

	

		
		

		

		

			Several alterations and a tropical applique create this shirt's vacation theme.
			The original sweatshirt had a plain crew neck and wide bottom ribbing. I removed
			the ribbing and sewed a 
		

		

			
			
			
			
			new hem with shirttail vents.
			I then used a part of the bottom ribbing to replace the shirt's original narrow neck
			ribbing. The last alteration was to create a waistline by adding a casing to the
			right side of the shirt and inserting a decorative ribbon drawstring. The
			"postcard scene" applique was cut from cotton fabrics and Ultrasuede.

		 Patriotic & Golf Tank Top
		
	

	

		
		

		

		

			
			Add style to plain tank tops with applique and fringe options. The golf motif applique
			on the pink tank top is cut from Ultrasuede and sewn on with clear nylon thread for a nearly
			invisible stitching line. On the ivory tank top, the blue Ultrasuede 
		

		

			triangles have stars
			cut out from the centers, while fringe made from frayed strips of cotton fabric trims the
			center triangle.
